Born
and raised in Port Moody, BC, award-winning
photographer Suzanne Merrett moved to Toronto to study
fine-art photography at Ryerson University. Following
her graduation, Suzanne laid down roots in Toronto and
launched her career as a professional photographer. It
wasn’t long after that she met her soul-mate,
George, with whom she continues to cohabit and
co-produce on both a personal and professional level.
While she is usually busy walking her miniature
schnauzer Flicka, her hobbies might lead her out to
the garage to spin the pottery wheel, to rise early
for Bikram Yoga, and perhaps end her day with a pint
of her hubby's homebrewed beer.
Suzanne is working on a collection of short stories based on her experiences as a wedding photographer.
She hopes to make it over to visit the ancestral home in Ireland next year sometime.
